Dipankar Roy opened the scoring in the fourth minute for East Bengal. After that it was over to Edmilson, who struck in the 36th, 39th minutes and completed his hat-trick converting a 59th-minute penalty. He rounded off the scoring in the 80th minute. — Principal Correspondent
