Goud’s century helps Gautam Model School win

HYDERABAD: A century by Avinash Goud (108) helped Gautam Model School score a 66-run win over Bhavan’s (Sainikpuri) in the inter-school (under-15) cricket championship here on Monday.

JDA Olympiad

The Dravyansh Corporate Cricket & Sports Organisers will organise the third JDA corporate Olympiad in cricket, basketball, table tennis, badminton and volleyball from October 13.

Basketball camp

The Hyderabad District Basketball Association will conduct coaching camp for men and women from October 3 at the YMCA (Secunderabad) at 4 p.m. to select the district teams for the senior inter-district championship at Rajahmundry from October 13 to 16.

Probables for the State camp will be selected for the coaching camp before the teams depart for the senior National championship at Puducherry from December 24.

Joint winner

North Zone ‘B’ and South Zone ‘B’ were declared joint winners of the N. Venkata Rao Trophy as the final between the two teams in the ACA inter-zone under-19 tournament at Vizianagaram on Monday could not be completed due to rain.

The scores: South Zone ‘B’ 70 in 30.5 overs vs. North Zone ‘B’ (match abandoned due to rain).
