Coimbatore, Chennai win

TIRUVARUR: Coimbatore and Chennai won the boys’ and girls’ titles respectively at the 34th junior inter-district volleyball championship, jointly conducted by the Poondi Memorial Volleyball Club and Tiruvarur District Volleyball Association, at Koradacheri on Sunday.

The results: Boys: Final: Coimbatore bt Kancheepuram 25-13, 25-23, 18-25, 21-25, 15-13.

Third place: Tiruvarur bt Madurai 25-22, 25-17, 21-25, 25-23.

Girls: Final: Chennai bt Coimbatore 25-14, 25-21, 25-20.

Third place: Salem bt Tiruvarur 25-11, 25-16, 25-12. — Sports Reporter
