Space Star: Sunita Williams arrives in Hyderabad on Thursday.
Hyderabad: The Indian-American astronaut, Sunita Williams, arrived here on Thursday afternoon from Chennai to take part in the on-going International Astronautical Congress.
Ms. Williams, who is staying in a hotel in the city, shook hands with several youngsters as she came out of the hotel.
In the evening, the United States officials hosted a dinner for her.
On Friday, she will take part in the deliberations at the IAC where she will speak on “Living and Working Aboard the International Space Station” and “ISS: A Historic Technical Achievement and International Cooperative Success”.
In the afternoon, she will address a press conference at the Hyderabad International Convention centre where the IAC is being held.
Ms. Williams will leave for New Delhi on Saturday morning.
