Girideepam, Lourdes bag titles

KOTTAYAM: Kottayam’s Girideepam School boys and Lourdes PS girls emerged champions in the Sahodaya inter-school basketball tournament at the Girideepam Bethany Central School here on Thursday.

The results (finals):

Boys: Girideepam School, Ktm, 57 (Aswin Samuel 18) bt Labour India PS, Marangattupally, 33.

Girls: Lourdes PS, Ktm, 14 bt Excelsior PS, Ktm, 10.

Special prizes, boys: Aswin Samuel (Girideepam, top scorer & best player), Manu Babu (Girideepam, most promising player).

Girls: Roshni Sebastian (Excelsior, top scorer & most promising player), Nella Geena (Lourdes, best player).
