Another lynching in Bihar

PATNA: In yet another incident of lynching in Bihar, an alleged thief was killed in Gopalganj district on Monday night.

Bikrama Ram allegedly entered the house of Kariman Manjhi and attacked his wife with a knife. She shouted for help and people caught hold of him and thrashed him. He died on the spot.

The incident occurred in Lokhara village under the Majhagarh police station. The police arrived on Wednesday morning and identified the dead as a resident of the nearby Sofapur village under the same police station.

His body was sent for post-mortem.

The police have filed an FIR against 100 unknown people of the village.
