Vijila’s day out

TIRUCHI: P. Balasubramanian (St. Joseph’s) and A. Vijila (Kundavai Nachiar GAC) were declared the best athletes in the men’s and women’s sections respectively at the 26th Bharathidasan University inter-collegiate athletic meet here on Saturday.

Vijila also won the 100m hurdles in a new record time of 15.4 seconds.

The Principal of the Bishop Heber College, M. Marcus Diepen Boominathan and the Principal of the Shrimathi Indira Gandhi College, K. Meena gave away the prizes.
