This is to facilitate the ongoing work on Metro Rail BANGALORE: To facilitate the ongoing work on Metro Rail, authorities have decided to divert the routes of some of the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) buses. Buses from Ulsoor to Majestic on M.G. Road via Trinity Church Circle, Mayo Hall through Commissariat Road will be diverted through Trinity Circle, Richmond Road Circle, HOSMAT Junction and then D’Souza Circle. Buses will then proceed through Ashoknagar signal. Buses from Ulsoor to Shivajinagar on M.G. Road via Trinity Circle-Webbs junction will pass through Trinity Circle, Kensington Road, Gangadhar Chetty Road, Dhobi Ghat Road, Vengalraya Junction, Kamaraj Road and enter Cubbon Road, and continue further on the existing route. No changeThe route of buses from Shivajinagar to Viveknagar will not change except for a deviation to Commissariat Road at Mayo Hall junction from M.G. Road. The route from Viveknagar to Shivajinagar will remain unchanged till Asirvadam Circle junction, and instead of taking Residency Road, the buses will proceed on Museum Road. The existing one-way will be changed to two-way on Commissariat Road between M.G. Road and Residency Road at Mayo Hall Junction.
