BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Friday confirmed the life imprisonment awarded by a Bangalore court to the employee of a private firm accused of murdering his colleague.

According to the prosecution, D. Cheluvagowda,of Bangalore, had on August 8, 2003, murdered his colleague Shivaraju, who had got him a job. Shivaraju was allegedly collecting Gowda’s salary of Rs. 1,800 a month and paying him only Rs. 1,000. Enraged, Gowda murdered Shivaraju.
