AIDS awareness programme

VILLUPURAM: The Red Ribbon Club of Theivanai Ammal College for Women organised an AIDS awareness programme on the college campus here recently.

The participants held elaborate discussions on the cause, sources, symptoms and modes of transmission of AIDS. They also dwelt on the preventive measures to be taken and on how to handle the patients.

On the occasion, short films on AIDS awareness were also screened in the presence of Principal S.Padmavathy and Club Programme Officer S.Kalaichelvi.
