Two Dak Adalats later this month

Customers can send their complaints by September 20, 25

Complaints regarding savings bank accounts, postal services can be sent


CHENNAI: The Department of Posts will organise two Dak Adalats during the last week of this month to hear customer grievances.

The first will be organised at 11 a.m. on September 25 at its office on Ethiraj Salai, Egmore.

Customers may send their complaints pertaining to postal services in areas north of Poonamallee High Road to the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices (Chennai City North Division) before Thursday and be present at the Dak Adalat, according to a press release.

The second Adalat will be held at Anna Road Head Post Office on September 28 at 3 p.m.

Customers may send their complaints with details such as date and office of booking, address of sender and addressee in respect of registered letters, parcel, insured articles and money orders by September 25.

Cash certificates

Complaints relating to savings bank accounts and cash certificates may also be sent to Chief Post Master, another press release said.
