St. Joseph’s and SN Trust triumph

KOZHIKODE: St. Joseph’s HSS (Pulinkunnu) and SN Trust HSS (Kollam) emerged the champions in the boys’ and girls’ sections respectively in the Silver Hills Trophy all-Kerala inter-school basketball tournament here on Monday.

The results: Boys (final): St. Joseph’s HSS, Pulikunnu, 43 (Ashin Xavier 15, Shamju A. Joy 13) bt St. Ephrem’s, Mannanam, 30 (Chandu Das 11, Rony Mathew 10).

Semifinals: St. Joseph’s 54 (Samju A. Joy 21, Ashin Xavier 19, V. Rajesh 10) bt Don Bosco HSS, Irinjalakuda, 43 (Arjun Krishna 18, Shabin Shamsudeen 10); St. Ephrem’s 70 (Nobin Antony 19, Rony Mathew 16) bt G. V. Raja Sports School, Thiruvananthapuram, 47 (Basil Philip 15, Dinu V. Thampi 13.

Girls (final): SN Trust, Kollam, 41 (P. Lijimol 11, R.K. Smruthy 10) bt Mount Carmel HSS, Kottayam, 39 (Shija Joseph 12).
