BANGALORE: Pankaj Advani, who retained his world title in the time format — the traditional billiards format – after winning both the titles in the last edition in 2005, was in a celebratory mood. “But, this is not for long… in a couple of days, it will be back to the tables in preparation for the Asian indoor games in Macau (from October 26 to Nov. 4),” he said during the course of a felicitation function, organised by the KSBA, here on Monday. “Retaining the title is an overwhelming feeling,” he said when asked about the first title and this one. “The expectations are much more and hence the pressure but once the defeat in the points format happened, I rewinded and began playing the game more freely without the added pressure. And the results are there for all to see,” he added. — Special Correspondent
