CHENNAI: The 51st annual day of the Young Stars Cricket Association (YSCA) was held recently at the Venkateswara Vivaha Mandir in T. Nagar. A souvenir was released on the occasion.
L. Balasubramanian, President, All India Overseas Bank Employees Union commended the work done by YSCA in promoting cricket. On the occasion all umpires and officials who had helped in the conduct of various YSCA fixtures in the year were honoured.
Prize for the various YSCA fixtures: SSI-YSCA trophy: Team winner: Sutherland Global Services Ltd. Best batsman: D. Kosagan (Sutherland). Best bowler: R. Selvan (YSCA XI). Best all rounder: B. Lokesh (Ashok Leyland).
Annual YSCA awards: Best batsman: P. Mahendiran; Best bowler: R. Selvam; Junior cricketer of the year: D. Manoj.
