Durga Nagendra, Suresh take honours

VIJAYAWADA: Gudivada’s B. Suresh and Vijayawada’s Durga Nagendra topped the table in the 62kg and 54 kg categories respectively in the district-level weightlifting competitions here on Thursday.

The winners: Men: 51kg: G.V.V.N. Ravi (Gudivada); 54kg: Durga Nagendra (Vij).

56kg: K. Suresh (Vij).

62kg: B. Suresh (Gudivada); 69kg: Sk. Ibrahim (Vij).

77kg: K. Durgavara Prasad (Vij).

85 kg: S. Rama Krishna (Vij); 94kg: S. Prasad (Gudivada).

Women: 53kg: N. Krishnaveni (Vij).

58kg: S. Chandra Kala (Vij).

69 kg: Sirisha (Vij).
