‘Review policy towards Pakistan’

Special Correspondent

CHENNAI: The present situation in Pakistan warranted an in-depth review of India’s current policy towards that nation, Subramanian Swamy, Janata Party President, said on Tuesday.

In a statement, Dr. Swamy contended that India’s national security would be gravely threatened if Pakistan was taken over by elements owing allegiance to the radical Islamic movement in that country and Afghanistan. India must decide on how to subtly and diplomatically support President Pervez Musharraf in this hour of crisis, he said.
