Help ryots: Party cadres staging a demonstration in Tiruvarur on Tuesday.
TIRUVARUR: All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam members staged a demonstration here on Tuesday to protest against what they alleged failure of State Government to provide cooperative loans to all farmers in the district.
The protestors also said that there was a scarcity of fertilizers and paddy seeds.
Durai Govindarajan, former MLA and State secretary of the farmers’ wing of the party, R. Kamaraj, former MP, Ilamathi Subramaniam, MLA, and others participated in the agitation.
