Two drown in Cauvery

KARUR: Two youths, Prabhakaran (27) and his friend J. Balasubramanian (25), belonging to Sellampalayam near Darapuram in Erode district, who had come on a pilgrimage met with a watery grave at the Cauvery at Mayanur near here on Tuesday.

Police said strong currents swept them away. Mayanur police have registered a case and are investigating.
