HYDERABAD: Centuries by Naman Ojha (103, 160 balls, 13x4, 1x6) and Jatin Saxena (114, 174 balls, 11x4, 1x6) helped Madhya Pradesh dominate the second day of the three-day match against Hyderabad in the 77th all-India Moin-ud-Dowla Gold Cup cricket tournament at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium (Uppal) here on Friday.

Ojha and Saxena put on 102 runs, testing the Hyderabad bowlers’ capability to strike it big on a pitch which was near-perfect for batting.

Both Ojha and Saxena excelled in their stroke selection and did not waste any scoring opportunity. In another match, Cheteshwar Pujara (152, 214 balls, 15x4) helped IOC score an imposing403 for seven against Kerala at Railway Grounds.

The scores: Madhya Pradesh 290 in 84.1 overs (Naman Ojha 103, Jatin Saxena 114, Daniel Manohar three for39, D.B. Ravi Teja four for five) vs Hyderabad 47 for one in 19 overs.

IOC 403 for seven in 90 overs (Cheteshwar Pujara 152, I. Tare 74, Mithin Beerala 58) vs Kerala.
