Innovative concept at Sunfeast Open

KOLKATA: The upcoming Sunfeast Open tennis tournament here will witness a pleasant departure from the custom of awarding trophy to the winner. Instead, the lady winning the singles title in the final on September 23 will get a gilt framed oil-on-canvas painting.

The title sponsor of the WTA Tier III event, Sunfeast, went for the innovative concept, drafting in a popular painter from the city, Wasim Kapoor. — Principal Correspondent
