David, Manikanta shine for Srikakulam

VISAKHAPATNAM: A. David Kumar’s five for 27 and P.R. Manikanta Reddy put Srikakulam in a strong position against Vizianagaram on the opening day of the two-day league match in the ACA North Zone under-15 inter-District tournament, for the Durisetty Sesha Appa Rao Trophy, here on Friday.

The scores: Vizianagaram 92 in 51.3 overs (K. Satish 32, P. Ravi 26, A. David Kumar five for 27, P.R. Manikanta Reddy three for 18) vs. Srikakulam 28 for one in 19 overs.

Visakhapatnam 289 in 79.3 overs (D. Sreenu 55, K. Ramakishore 49, G. Syam Sundar 47, Ricky Bhui 31) vs. East Godavari 51 for no loss in 13 overs (D. Akhil 28 batting).
