Shivashankar bags honours

MYSORE: S. Shivashankar of Mahajana High School (Mysore) hogged the limelight in the High school boys’ section by winning the individual championship with 11 points in the district schools sports meet (u-16) here on Friday.

In the High School girls’ section, R. Pallavi (Nanjangud) and B. Divyashree (Mysore North) secured 13 points each and shared the individual title.

Mysore South won the overall championship in the girls’ section with 36 points. Mysore North athletes won the overall title in the High School boys’ section with 34 points.
