Adverg strikes winner

NEW DELHI: Rohini Football Club brightened its chances of qualifying for the super-six as it overcame a fighting Gorkha Heroes 1-0 in a Group ‘A’ match of the DSA football league at the Ambedkar Stadium here on Friday. Adverg scored the match-winner in the eighth minute.

In other matches, Garhwal Diamond drew goalless with Youngsters, Delhi Cantonment thrashed Royal Bengal 6-1 while Goodwill beat Frontier 3-0.
