Arshhiya plans container freight station

MUMBAI: Arshhiya Technologies International, an integrated supply chain services company, on Friday said it has got the Union Ministry of Commerce and Industry approval for setting up a container freight station (CFS) near the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust for handling import and export cargo. The adjacent area will also include a logistics park. The cost of the CFS and the logistics park will be about Rs. 350 crore.

The proposed area for the new CFS will be around 41 acre. Besides CFS, the logistics park will consist of non-bonded warehousing area, empty container storage and refurbishment yard. This will facilitate the export and import community and shipping lines by providing one-stop solutions in terms of customs brokerage, sea and land transportation, storage and refurbishing marine containers. The company has international presence through its network of partners.
