Senior IAS officer dead

PATNA: Bihar Principal Secretary (Human Resources Development) Madan Mohan Jha died here on Friday. He was 54.r. Jha, a 1977 batch IAS officer, died of lung failure at his official residence. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, his Cabinet colleagues, Chief Secretary A. K. Choudhry and other senior officials rushed to his residence to pay their last respects.

The Chief Minister declared a holiday in all Government offices, schools and colleges. – PTI.
