Arjun triumphs

Mysore: Arjun Ranja returned with a card of four over 74 and clinched the Stroke Play Gross (0-18) title in the Reid and Taylor Open golf tournament conducted by the Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf club at their course here on Sunday.

The results: Stroke Play Gross (0-18): 1. Arjun Ranga (74 gross); 2. M.C. Vittal (77 gross). Stroke Play Net (0-18): 1. P. Ramesh (67 net); 2. P.A. Harshanandan (67 net-better back nine over Dr. Pu ttabasappa). Stable Ford Net (0-18): 1. Dr. Puttabasappa (39 pts.); 2. S. Ramachandra (37 pts); Stable Ford Net (0-24). For seniors: 1. K.N. Bhat (39 pts.); 2. H.N. Ravanikar (36 pts.).
