Sahavasi dead

HYDERABAD: J. Umamaheswara Rao (Sahavasi), noted writer, translator and journalist passed away at Tenali on Wednesday. He was 73 and ailing for sometime now. Sahavasi was known for his brilliance in translating several works of noted Western writers into Telugu. Initially he had a stint with the Accountant General’s Office but opted out of service to join Eenadu, where he worked for 10 years. –Special Correspondent
