Sonia Gandhi coming

HYDERABAD: UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi will make a six-hour whirlwind tour of East and West Godavari and Guntur districts on September 1 to launch the second phase of Indiramma and to study the Rajiv Swagruha schemes.

She will arrive at Rajahmundry at 10.30 a.m. from New Delhi, inaugurate a colony constructed under Rajiv Gruhakalpa.

She will later fly to Guntur district to inaugurate Indiramma Phase II programme around 12.30 p.m. at Tummuluru near Tenali.

Before leaving for Guntur town, she will interact with some Indiramma beneficiaries.

Ms Sonia Gandhi will address a public meet at Kasu Brahmananda Reddy Stadium at Guntur around 1.15 p.m. Later she will proceed to Eluru in West Godavari district to address a Mahila Samakya conference and members of the Indira Kranti Pathakam. She is slated to leave Eluru around 4 p.m. for Vijayawada en route New Delhi.
