JMC takes trophy

TIRUCHI: Host Jamal Mohammed College (JMC), with four points at the end of the league stage, won the Khajamian Rolling Trophy in the State-level hockey tournament here on Monday. Pachaiyappa’s College also finished with four points but JMC emerged winner on better goal difference.

The results (league): Pachaiyappa’s 1 (Ramesh Khanna) bt TUK Arts 0; Jamal Mohammed 2 (Manikandan, Saravanan) bt TUK Arts 0; Jamal Mohammed 0 drew with Pachaiyappa’s 0.
