Bernardo impresses

Hyderabad: Bernardo, Global Presence and Astro King impressed when the horses were exercised here on Monday morning (Aug. 27).

Outer grass:

1,000m: Springing Strides (Anil), Flash Flares (rb) 1-13.5, 800/58, 400/29.5. Latter moved better. Pancho Pete (Shinde) 1-8, 800/54, 600/41, 400/27.5. Moved freely.

1,200m: Amazing Galloper (Trainer) 1-25, (1,200-400) 56. Moved freely.

1,400m: Rain Dance (M. Krishna), Bang Baba Bang (Umesh) 1-38, 1,200/1-22, (1,200-400) 54.5. Former moved better.

1,600m: Nano Blue (rb) 1-59.5, 1,400/1-43, 1,000/1-13, 800/57.5, 600/43.5, 400/28. Not extended.

Sand:

600m: Coral Gables (Uday Kiran) 47, 400/28. Hard held. Fire Wings (Uday Kiran) 47, 400/28. Moved well. Heck Of A Guy (Ali Khan), Arsham (Pramod) (1,400-800) 47.5. They were easy. Realtor (Pramod) (1,200-600) 47.5. Moved on the bit.

800m: Floral Tribute (Suresh), Leo Dvij (Uday Kiran) 59.5, 600/45, 400/26.5. They finished together. True Value (rb) 1-1, 600/46, 400/30. Not extended. Corps Command (Ali Khan), Argo (Pramod) (1,200-400) 59, (1,200-600) 43. They were easy.

1,000m: Astro King (rb), Rubinella (Ali Khan) 1-17, 800/59.5, 600/44.5, 400/27.5. Former easily finished three lengths in front.

1,400m: Bernardo (rb), Global Presence (Mukesh) 1-47, 1,200/1-31.5, 800/1-0.5, 600/45.5, 400/29. A fit pair.

Gate practice (Outer grass):

1,200m: Red Carpet (Sequeira), Flying Knight (Sreekant) 1-21, (1,200-400) 54. They took a smart jump and finished together. Exclusive Monarch (Ali Khan), Royal Guard (Chary) 1-20, (1,200-400) 54.5. They jumped out well and finished level. Blizzard (Shinde), Tenth Planet (M. Krishna), Go Air (Ravinder) 1-26, 400/29. They jumped out well and were separated by a distance each.

Sand — Aug. 26:

1,000m: Champ Forever (A. Imran Khan) 1-17, 800/1-0, 600/46.5, 400/30.5. Moved freely with blinkers.
