Easy for ONGC

Tirupur: ONGC (Dehradun) continued its splendid form scoring a 71-55 win over South Central Railway (Secunderabad) in the TBC silver jubilee all-India invitational basketball tournament for the Angel Trophy here on Wednesday.

In the distaff side, Kerala State Electricity Board (Thiruvanathapuram) scored a thrilling 58-54 win over Central Railways.

The results: Men (league): ONGC (Dehradun) 71 (Trideep Rai 15, Shabeer Ahamed 14, Mohit Bhandar 14) bt South Central Railway (Secunderabad) 55 (Prasad 15, Laxman 12, Varma 11).

Women: KSEB 58 (S.S. Anjana 13, Nimmy Thomas 15) bt Central Railways 54 (Indu 18, Lissi Rani 13). — Sports Reporter
