HYDERABAD: Rishabh Kumar defeated K.V. Akash 4-2, 5-3 in the boys’ under-12 semifinals of the St. Thomas Independence Cup tennis tournament for sub-juniors at Advantage Tennis Academy here on Wednesday.

The results (semifinals):

Boys: Under-10: Taha Kapadia bt K. Rawal 4-2, 4-1; Mohd. Numan bt A. Aditya 5-4(3), 4-1.

Under-12: A.L. Anirudh bt Mohd. Numan 4-2, 4-2; Rishab Kumar bt K.V. Akash 4-2, 5-3.
