Canara Bank bags title

BANGALORE: Canara Bank bagged the team title in the LIC State ranking table tennis tournament at Belgaum on Wednesday.

In the final, Canara Bank defeated Horizon TT Academy 3-1. In the semifinals, Canara Bank beat BNM Club, Bangalore 3-1, while Horizon TTA got a walk over from PTTA, Mysore.

The results (final): Canara Bank bt Horizon TT Academy 3-1 (Samson Selvakumar bt A.R. Navneeth 11-6,11-7, 11-8; Anirban Trafdar bt Yatish 11-9, 11-5,12-10; Krunal Telang lost to Puneeth 10-12, 12-10, 7-11, 4-11; Anirban Tarafdar bt A.R . Navneeth 12-10, 11-7, 11-5).
