Vijaya Kumar beats Balaji Kumar

VIJAYAWADA: Vijayawada’s V. Vijaya Kumar defeated V. Balaji Kumar 61-22, 10-62, 47-34 in the State-level open snooker tournament organised by LVR Sons Club at Guntur on Wednesday.

Durga Bhavani to lead

J. Durga Bhavani will skipper the ACA Central Zone women’s cricket team in the inter-zonal tournament to be held at Anantapur from August 20.

The trials to select Krishna District Cricket Association’s under-15 team will be held on August 19 at the Indira Gandhi Municipal Stadium.
