Indian Army posts win

Coimbatore: Indian Army went flat out in the last two quarters to oust a fighting Western Railway (Mumbai) outfit 57-53 in the all-India basketball tournament for the PSG Trophy at the PSG College of Technology courts here on Tuesday night.

The results:

Indian Army 57 (Jairam Jat 19) bt Western Railway (Mumbai) 53 (Jasjot Singh 16); ONGC (Dehradun) 74 (Riyazuddin 30) bt ICF (Chennai) 61 (Sikkander 26). — Sports Reporter
