Suchde takes title

Mumbai: Siddharth Suchde defeated Harinderpal Singh to win the Patel Retail-ISPA Classic squash championship title at the Otters Club, here, on Sunday. The top seed dropped the opening game, but came back to grab the next three in a keen contest.

Chennai’s B. Balamurugan beat Sachin Jadhav to win the professionals title.

The results (finals): Men: Siddharth Suchde (Mum) bt Harinderpal Singh (Che) 9-11, 11-5, 11-8, 11-6.
