Kodaikanal: Lalitha Balasubramanian played an impeccable final round for a trophy triumph in the South India Ladies Open at the Kodaikanal Golf Club on Friday. Lalitha annexed the India Cements Trophy with a fourth round card of 76, two days before her 56th birthday. Lalitha was lying third at the end of the third round on Thursday behind the leader Rupa Gurunath and Meher Atwal. But on Friday, she beat the challenge from the two younger opponents for a total of 317, pushing Saaniya Sharma of Chandigarh and Rupa Gurunath to the runner up spots. Saaniya carded 75.
