Inflation rate rises to 4.45 p.c.

NEW DELHI: A rise in prices of food items such as fruits, vegetables and some manufactured products pushed up the inflation rate marginally to 4.45 per cent during the week ended July 28 from 4.36 per cent in the previous week. The wholesale prices-based inflation rate was 4.72 per cent for the corresponding week of the previous year.
