BANGALORE: Dream-A-Dream beat Best High School 3-2 in a closely fought fixture in the Rotary Club sponsored inter-school hockey tournament for the Dr. G.S Randhawa memorial trophy here on Friday. Arun Kumar (13th), Sridhar (16th) and Pradeep (40th) scored for Dream-A-Dream and Shiekh Nizammuddin (25th & 28th) scored for Best High School. In another closely contested match, St John’s beat Sarla Birla Academy 3-2 with C Sunil (2nd & 30th) scoring a brace and Kevin Savio (27th) contributing to his school’s win. Abhishek (21st) and Bharadwaj (40th) found their efforts go in vain for Sarla Birla Academy. In the first fixture, St Germain’s pounded Maruthi Vidyalaya 6-0. Deepak Felix (10th), Noel Francis (15th), Ashley Arwin (17th & 20th), Steve Richards (22nd) and Karthik Raju (25th) were the scorers for St Germain’s. — Special Correspondent
