Sathyabama wins title

PUDUKOTTAI: Sathyabama University, with an all win record at the end of the semifinal league, won the A.S. Lingaiyan Chettiar Memorial Rolling Trophy for men in the State-level inter-collegiate volleyball tournament, conducted by the Mookambigai College of Engineering, here on Wednesday.

Panimalar Engineering College finished second with two victories and Sethu Institute of Technology secured the third place with one win.

In the women’s section, PSGR Krishnammal College won all its league matches to clinch the Rajamani Ammal Memorial Rolling Trophy. — Sports Reporter
