Birla Sun Life infuses additional capital

MUMBAI: The promoters of Birla Sun Life Insurance have infused an additional capital of Rs 105.50 crore into the company in tranches from April to July this year and this enhanced the company’s capital to Rs. 777 crore as of July 31, 2007. For the first quarter of 2007-08, its total business premium stands at about Rs. 371 crore. Total assets under management are Rs. 4,500 crore.
