Wipro Tech to buy U.S. firm

BANGALORE: Wipro Technologies on Monday signed a definitive agreement to buy Infocrossing of the U.S., a provider of IT infrastructure management. The all-cash deal entails a tender offer of $18.70 per share for 33 million shares of Infocrossing, amounting to a 13 per cent premium over the Nasdaq-listed price per share, Suresh Vaswani, President, Global IT Services, Wipro, told reporters here.
