Hutch hikes STD rates for prepaid

NEW DELHI: Hutch-Essar on Monday increased the long distance tariffs (STD rates) for its pre-paid mobile customers to Rs. 2.65 from Rs. 2.40 with immediate effect. However, the company said the changes would not be applicable to customers who are less than six months old on the network, but beyond this time period the revised rates would be applicable from August 6.
