MUMBAI: Concerns on global credit squeeze and worries about the U.S. housing loan business continued to have its impact on the domestic stock market on Monday as the benchmark BSE Sensex fell 235 points on heavy selling by funds. The Bombay Stock Exchange 30-share barometer Sensex opened sharply lower at 14892.60 from last Friday’s close of 15138.40 and touched a one-month low of 14705.58. Later, it recovered on good buying support from domestic funds and ended at 14903.03 — a fall of 235.37 points. — PTI
