Raghuvaran’s new role

Chennai: Actor Raghuvaran will play first citizen of the country in ‘Thodakkam,’ produced by K.S.Vijayendran for Vijayandra productions. The film, being directed by Muthukumar. R, revolves around the lives of five students.

The students, who aspire to go abroad and lead a comfortable life, are kidnapped by a gang that plans to destroy the country with a nuclear bomb.

Thanks to their academic background, they defuse the bomb. The President calls them and says the country is safe in the hands of the youngsters.

Raghuvaran said: “It is my dream to do this role. I have been observing how different Presidents walk and talk. I am following A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.”

The cast includes actors Raguvannan, Abinay, Rishi, Monika, Meha Nair, Rajeev and Ramesh Khanna.

The camera is by V.Adithya and Jerom Pushparaj has scored the music.
