KOZHIKODE: Bangalore-based Allegro Capital Advisors has announced the opening of its “financial supermarket” in the city by offering localised products catering to the population of north Kerala. This investment bank would offer all financial products of various companies under one roof, Vasu Krishnamurthy, director of Allegro, told presspersons here on Tuesday. Seventeen categories
The company focuses on 17 different categories, including real estate, gold and gold chits, and loan advances of over 100 companies as well as Government savings instruments. Plans have been afoot to spread across 13 towns in north Kerala, he said. Allegro has been successful in running the private banking business in Kochi for the past two years. The new venture would give credibility and operational edge since a bank or insurance company offers its own brand of products, Mr. Krishnamurthy said. Allegro’s investment banking team brings years of experience in advising on transactions both in Indian and international markets. Expertise ranges across capital raising, debt restructuring and initial public offerings. It also collaborates with specialists for estate advisory, tax and legal services to offer a one-stop “family office” to its high net worth clientele, he said.
