Jesudoss, Priya triumph

Chennai: V. Jesudoss (Vellore) and S. Rathi Priya (Chennai) won the men and women’s titles respectively in the State tennikoit championship for juniors and sub-juniors here recently.

The results:

Sub-juniors: Boys: 1. Vignesh Guruvel (Sivakasi); 2. Tirugnanam (Vaniyambadi); 3. Lenin Sunder Balaji (Sivakasi).

Girls: 1. B. Madhu Bala (Sivakasi); 2. Divya Bharathy (Sivakasi); 3. R. Anjana (Sindi Model).

Doubles: Boys: 1. Thirugnanam/ Anbarasan (Vaniyambadi); 2. Rajkumar/ Kumaresan (Vellore); 3. Murugesan/ Arvind (Sivakasi).

Girls: 1. Lavanya (Maranhalli)/ Sandya (Dharmapuri); 2. J. Vincy/ K. Kayathri (Velammal School, Surapet); 3. Selva Priya/ Nithyalakshmi (Virudnagar).

Juniors: Boys: 1. S. Ilambarasn (Vaniyambadi); 2. Arun Karthik (Sivakasi); 3. S. Tamilvanan (Islamic College, Vaniyambadi).

Girls: 1. A.V. Shameen Fathima (Guntur Subbaiah Pillai); 2. V. Divya (Guntur Subbaiah Pillai); 3. Merlin Josephine (Guntur Subbaiah Pillai).

Women: 1. S. Rathi Priya (Chennai); 2. R. Anjana (Meenakshi College); 3. S. Ramya (Vridunagar).

Men: 1. V. Jesudoss (Vellore); 2. D. Samuvel (Vellore); 3. M. Saravanan (Vellore).
