Jeevan going abroad

CHENNAI: Eighteen-year-old Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan, finalist in the Chennai leg of the ITF Futures tennis tournament recently, said he will not play in India for the next four years.

Jeevan informed that he had got admission into the University of Washington, Seattle, for undergraduate studies.

“I will play tennis for my college in the National Collegiate Athletic Association tournaments and then decide whether to continue tennis or not,” said Jeevan.

He will join college in September this year. — Sports Reporter
