Arinjay Bisht enters final

NEW DELHI: Arinjay Bisht of Ahlcon Public School defeated Yohaan Abraham of Sriram School 15-21, 21-14, 21-15 in the under-10 boys’ semifinals in the third ASN Delhi State inter-school badminton tournament at the Siri Fort Sports Complex, here on Monday.

The results (all semifinals):

Boys: Individual: U-10: Arjun bt Rahul Patel 21-15, 21-9; Arinjay Bisht bt Yohaan Abraham 15-21, 21-14, 21-15.

Girls: Team: U-19: Mother’s International bt Modern School (Barakhamba Road) 2-1; S.S.L.T. Gujarati bt New Era 2-0. U-16: Modern School (Barakhamba Road) bt Lovely PS (Priyadarshini Vihar) 2-0; Holy Child bt DP S (Mathura Road) 2-1. U-13: Rashtriya Sarvoday Kanya Vidyalaya (Timharpur) bt Happy School (Daryaganj) 2-0; Modern School (Barakhamba Road) bt ASN (Mayur Vihar) 2-0.

Individual: U-10: Semifinals: Kanika Kanwal bt Divya 21-5, 21-5; Diana w/o Poojita.
