PUDUCHERRY: The Coast Guard and the marine police wing of the Territorial Police will conduct joint maritime surveillance along the Puducherry coast from first week of August.

Commandant Arun Saxena, Commanding Officer, CG station in Puducherry, said they would take the policemen, from the marine police station at Karaikal, on board while doing the surveillance. He also said a new interceptor boat was recently attached to the station. Senior Superintendent of Police B.
